The Annual Conference of the WEC Estonia takes place on the 17th of January 2023.

The Annual Conference of the World Energy Council Estonia is taking place on the 17th of January in Kultuurikatel. Over three years the event takes place physically. The title for the event this year is “Security of Supply and Affordable Energy Prices”. Under that umbrella the conference brings on the stage international speakers to share best practices, lessons learnt and innovation on how to maintain security of supply and keep the energy affordable while taking into account transition towards renewable sources.

Maailma Energeetikanõukogu Eesti Rahvuskomitee missiooniks on luua rahvusvahelisele koostööle tuginev teaduspõhine keskkond jätkusuutlikku energeetika kujundamiseks Eestis.

WEC ja Eesti ajalugu

Eesti võeti vastu WEC-i liikmeks 29. juunil 1937.aastal Pariisis. Eestit esindas Rahvuslik Jõukomitee eesotsas direktor J. Veeruse ja professor P. Kogermaniga.
